BOMB PLOT HITS NORTHSHIRE HARD!
The Darkshire Guard took a beating during a everyday training session. When a flying machine was spotted hovering over the training session for a couple of minutes it was a cause of concern. However before long the driver was spotted shouting slogans of the Legion of Righteousness and then was spotted dropping something over the edge of his cockpit. Suddenly the peaceful area of Northshire erupted into a place of fire, blood and fear. A large explosive device landed in the middle of around 100 guards whom were training. Sadly one guard was killed instantly who has been named as Private Nickolas Spinweave. Once the dirt died down priests from the Abbey ran out to help the many injured guards. Commander Danius Stormeye said the injury ratio to those uninjured was 20:1, showing how damaging the bomb was to the unit. Three guard passed away later in the day because of their injuries. They have been named as, Private Dennis Cooper, Officer Lace Dregar and Drillmaster Lance Copperfield. This tragic terroist attack has raised concerns of the safety of both the guard force and the people of the Kingdom. Two passersby had minor injuries from the blast. The Legion of Righteousness is still being investigated.
THE PLAGUE AND A PISTOL!
Yes! The Kingdom has again been hit by a minor plague. This time contracted somehow by Private of the Darkshire Guard and spread to three other medics, Commander Danius, Doctor Opala and Nurse Rease. Before long a cure was created with extremely rare herbs. Danius decided to let the ladies exit the room with the cures. Leaving him to possibly die from it.
Time past and Danius was sealed in the Infirmary. Before long he was sighted falling into a coma and appeared dead. The Guard was again Leaderless.
HOWEVER! To the surprise of the press and to the citizens of the Kingdom, Commander Danius suddenly seemed to fight off the disease. Over night the disease was destroyed and he seemed fine. He was released from the Infirmary after a negative reading on the test. He ordered the destruction of the Infirmary by fire. Everything seemed fine........When suddenly a event shocked the guard possibly for years to come.
On a normal, everyday patrol. The Commander complained of a bad pain in his temples. Then suddenly stopped talking. Reports from this horrific events report that the Commander then began acting strangely pointing his gun at his fellow guard. When his pistol barrel stoped on Lt-Commander Barry Stonehatchet. The plains of Westfall was filled with the sound of gunshots, as the Commander fired a single shot to Barrys head and then followed up with shooting randomly at the rest of the guards. He was restrained and locked up. After a while it was clear that he went though periods of control and then followed by a pain in his temples lost control. The guards talked over the cause of this. All fingers pointed to the plague. All fingers pointed to the Legion of Righteousness. Luckily it was a quick fix. All that was needed was a powerful exorism. However the morale of the guard was struck down dramaticly as the idea that anyone of them could be controled to kill their own friends and even family was worrying. The guard all decided the Legion of Righteousness needed to be silenced and Silenced they will be.
Commander Returns.
Commander Danius Luciphor Stormeye has returned and is now in full command of the Darkshire Guard.
At the horrific end of the guards latest operation (Stranglehold) 30 guards lost their lives including Commander Jacob Danius Stormeye. The Guard looked leaderless with Lt-Commander Barry Hatchet and Lt-Commander Neyro unavailable. Drillmaster Algan, who had only been involved in the job for less than a week beforehand after a long spell away on frontline duty. However, when guards answered to a call to Raven Hill they were greeted by a bright light, on searching for the source of the light they found a single living man. After closer inspection the corpes was confirmed to be Commander Danius Luciphor Stormeye. Commander Danius Stormeye, the founder of the Darkshire Guard approximatly 40 years ago was dead and buried in a grave later located by the Guard in Duskwood. The cause of his return from death is still a mystery. Yet experts believe the Bronze Dragon flight are involved. They refused to give a statement.
Bomb plot shuts down log production
A threat of a bomb to be set off in Eastvale Logging Camp is confirmed. All work in Eastvale has been halted and all citizens evacuated to Lakeshire and Goldshire. Guards still remain in the area. However experts believe even two days of full closer will dramaticly decrease the rebuilding and construction required due to the Cataclysm. Commander Danius at a press conference said "We are aware of the problems awaken by closing the whole Eastvale area, however lives must not be sacrificed unnecessarily". He also reported on the culprits of the bomb plot. Who are said to be "The Legion of Righteousness" or "LOR". Commander Stormeye said, "We have already raided three sites which are owned by LOR, however have not found any incriminating evidence to suggest any plans or equipment involved in bomb making nor to plan how they will place and detonate". The search continues for any Legion of Righteousness members as they are wanted for questioning.
Not much is known about The Legion of Righteousness at this present moment but priests in the Cathedral described a old man and what seems like his grand daughter fanaticly warning civilians about their sins and punishment to follow. Even though their Legion is unheared of the guard forces of Stormwind wish to stop them before they can make their name known. If you know any information, PLEASE report it to your nearest Darkshire Guard.

Those We Never Forget
The Darkshire Guard is holding their first rememberence day. The evening is to remember the 30 guards killed in the latest Operation, the highest death rate in a single operation. However the service will also be for all those service men and women killed over the 40 years the Guard has been in service. The service will be held on March 20th at 20:00 (Game Time). All are welcome to attend but guards must attend in full uniform. In a sign of respect for the dead please make sure you act appropriately and do not cause trouble.
